Police Respond To Lohan Family Home Following Reported Clash Between Lindsay, Dina

MERRICK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Nassau County cops said no charges have been filed after they were called to the family home of Lindsay Lohan Wednesday on a report of an argument between the starlet and her mother.

Police said they received a 911 call just after 8 a.m. about a domestic situation at the Merrick home of Lohan's mother Dina, 1010 WINS' Mona Rivera reported.

At one point, witnesses said Lohan was seen getting out of a black vehicle angry, yelling and waving her purse.

"She threw her pocketbook up in the air and said she had enough of this and then they all walked inside the house," one witness said.

Sources said Lohan was in New York City Tuesday night and that the argument was over where the actress would stay afterward, Rivera reported.

Lohan called her father who then called police, the sources said.

After a brief investigation, police determined the argument was only verbal and said no criminality was suspected. They left without filing any charges.

Last month, Lohan was arrested near the Dream Hotel in Chelsea for allegedly clipping a pedestrian with her car. She was given a desk appearance ticket. Her court date is set for Oct. 23.

She is still on informal probation for stealing a necklace from a jewelry store last year.
