Sarah Darling To Perform In New Season Of 'The Bachelor'

Country music is once again set to take center stage during an upcoming episode of one of TV's most popular dating shows.

Earlier this year, both Gloriana and Luke Bryan appeared on The Bachelorette. Now, word has leaked out that another country singer will featuring in ABC-TV's hugely popular sibling show, The Bachelor. That artist? Rising country star Sarah Darling.

The episode in question is set in Whitefish, Montana, where Sarah Darling played a show Wednesday Night (Oct. 10), right smack in the middle of Central Avenue. It will be part of the show's new season, which begins airing early next year.

The concert was open to the public, and it was noted that it was for a "special network television event." ABC was also mentioned as the network in question (The Bachelor is an ABC-TV show).

A story posted on Kalispell, Montana's KAJ18.com also mentioned Wednesday's Sarah Darling concert and said the show in question--which again was strongly rumored to be The Bachelor--had been in town filming for a few days.

Sarah's label, Black River Entertainment, could not divulge the name of the show or the air date. They did say, however, that the song she performed for the taping is her brand-new single, "Home To Me." The song was officially released Aug. 21 and has so far sold 22,000 digital downloads on iTunes.

Sarah apparently had a great time in Whitefish, and tweeted repeatedly about how much she enjoyed her time there.

The new season of The Bachelor is scheduled to begin airing in January of 2013. It features Sean Lowe, who was previously a contestant on The Bachelorette.
