A suspicious device was found at an Elmont Home Depot on Tuesday, just days after a pipe bomb was discovered at a the store's Huntington location. The Huntington device was reportedly part of an extortion plot.

Shoppers told WCBS 880 Long Island Bureau Chief Mike Xirinachs these incidents won't keep them from doing business.

"I look around, so, I'm a little bit cautious, so, I'm aware of my surroundings, so it's not going to effect me at all," one shopper said.

Authorities have heightened security at Home Depot stores throughout Suffolk County while this investigation continues.

Police say the suspect in the Huntington incident has threatened to plant more of them if money isn't paid.

A possible suspect has reportedly been questioned, but no arrests have been made.
