Suspect Wanted In String Of Bronx Burglaries
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has launched a search for the suspect who burglarized six homes near Fordham University in the Bronx.
The incidents happened between late August and just last week. Police said the suspect entered first-floor apartments through the window and removed property before fleeing.
The burglaries happened on Friday Aug. 31; Friday, Sept. 7; Wednesday, Sept. 12; Tuesday, Sept. 18; Tuesday, Oct. 9; and Tuesday, Oct. 12.
All of the incidents happened near East 188th and Hoffman streets, except the Sept. 18 and Oct. 9 incidents, which happened a block away near East 188th Street and Lorillard Place.
The person wanted for questioning in the burglaries is described as a black male in his 30s, standing 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall. A further description was not released.
