George Strait has a brand new single.

Ahead of his farewell tour, George Strait is set to release a brand new single to country radio today, titled “Give It All We Got Tonight.”

The song was recorded in Nashville, and it’s a collaboration with the country music legend’s longtime producer, Tony Brown. Tony has produced his friend George’s records since the early 1990s.

“The song has a very unusual melody and very cool phrasing, which I’ve always been drawn to,” Strait said of the song.

During the announcement of his Cowboy Rides Away Tour, George had noted that, while this marks his final major concert tour, he will still be releasing new material. “I’m still going to make records, I’m going to write.”

The two-year Cowboy Rides Away Tour is set to hit the road on January 18, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas. Special guest on the tour is Martina McBride.
