Source: Giants' TE Beckum To Be Activated From PUP List

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A source with inside knowledge of New York Giants' transactions told CBS Sports that the Giants have activated tight end Travis Beckum from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

Beckum tore his ACL in Super Bowl XLVI and was placed on the PUP list to begin the 2012 NFL season.  Bear Pascoe is currently listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers.  Pascoe has been hampered by an ankle injury.

If both Pascoe and Beckum aren't healthy enough to play on Sunday, rookie tight end Adrien Robinson would backup Martellus Bennett.

Offensive guard Mitch Petrus is expected to be released to clear room for Beckum on the Giants' 53-man roster.

Will Beckum make an impact against Pittsburgh if activated on Sunday?  Sound off below...
