Phillips Out, Bradshaw Will Play For Giants Vs. Steelers

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The New York Giants announced via their official Twitter account that safety Kenny Phillips will miss Sunday's game against the Giants, but running back Ahmad Bradshaw will play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Phillips hasn't played since injuring his MCL against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 30.  Stevie Brown has filled in admirably in his place at strong safety.  Brown has recorded 5 interceptions so far this season.

Bradshaw's foot isn't 100%.  He did not practice on Friday, but is healthy enough to play against the Steelers.

Phillips joins linebacker Chase Blackburn, tight end Bear Pascoe, linebacker Keith Rivers, linebacker Jacquian Williams, defensive end Adewale Ojomo and tight end Adrien Robinson as Giants' inactives for week 9.
