CBS News: Obama Wins In Connecticut

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- CBS News has projected that President Barack Obama has won the state of Connecticut.

As of the 11 p.m. hour, 55 percent of the votes reported in Connecticut were for Obama, compared with 43 percent for Republican Mitt Romney.

Connecticut commands seven electoral votes.

The state has not gone for a Republican candidate since 1988, when voters chose George H.W. Bush over Michael Dukakis.
