Tickets On Sale For Boomer & Carton's 'Come Get Some Comedy' To Aid Sandy Relief

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Come get some!

Comedy, that is -- all to help our neighbors devastated by Superstorm Sandy.

Artie Lange, Jay Mohr, Nick DiPaolo, Michael Che, Sherrod Small, John Pizzi and Colin Quinn are all scheduled to take the stage at Manhattan's historic Beacon Theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and more names could join the lineup.

Spearheaded by WFAN co-hosts Craig Carton and Boomer Esiason, all proceeds from ticket sales will go toward the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund and the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City.

Tickets ($55) are available online at Ticketmaster.com, and in person at the Beacon box office, Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden.

The show will get under way at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening one hour prior.

Carton said the goal is to raise $100,000 for relief efforts. Lange & Co. won't be paid for providing the yuks — nor do they want a single dollar — and the Beacon was provided rent-free by MSG.

"They recognize the need to raise money for folks both in New Jersey and New York City, and we can't thank them enough," said Carton.

Carton said some celebrities also plan to stop by, including Rangers great Adam Graves and actor Chazz Palminteri.
