Rolle And Giants Looking Forward To Big Test Against Packers

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Antrel Rolle joined Joe and Evan at midday on Tuesday to discuss the Giants' preparations for their big test against the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers have been looking for revenge since the Giants eliminated Green Bay on their path to winning Super Bowl XLVI.

"Those guys are going to be hungry," Rolle said.  "I don't expect anything less ... other than a hard-fought war-battle.

"Those guys are going to be hungry, those guys are going to want revenge from last season.  We're trying to get ourselves back on track and make a push toward the postseason and win our division."

The Giants are coming off consecutive losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, but the bye week allowed the Giants to put those losses aside and refocus themselves.

"There's no room for error at this point," Rolle declared.

Kenny Phillips returning will give the Giants a big boost.  Phillips hasn't played since Week Four when he suffered a knee injury against the Philadelphia Eagles.

"It helps the defense tremendously," Rolle explained.  "It allows other players to free up and put certain players in positions to make those plays."

The return of Phillips will definitely make an impact as a victory over the Packers will require a huge effort from everyone wearing the Giants' blue.

Will the Giants come back stronger after the bye week and bring their best game against the Packers Sunday on night?  Sound off below...
