Researchers Say Simple Formula Could Predict Childhood Obesity Chances

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Childhood obesity has become a national epidemic and public health crisis.

Experts have long known that certain things make it much more likely that a child will become overweight or obese -- things like the weight of the parents, a mother's education and so on, CBS 2's Dr. Max Gomez reported.

You can calculate your own odds with the formula here.
