Queens Man Accused Of Groping Woman On Subway Platform Turns Self In

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Queens man has been arrested for allegedly groping a woman in the subway system.

Andres Lara, 25, was charged with forcible touching in connection with Wednesday's incident.

A 27-year-old woman was standing on the Manhattan-bound platform for the "7″ train at the Queensboro Plaza stop, when Lara walked up, grabbed her buttocks, and fled, police said.

Police had released a picture of the suspect that was captured by a witness.

Lara turned himself in Thursday after he saw himself on TV, police said.
