Eight People Hurt When Car Goes Out Of Control In Fairfield, N.J.

FAIRFIELD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - Eight people were hurt when a driver suffered a seizure in a parking lot.

The incident took place around noon in the parking lot of the Skyline Auto Exchange at 100 Route 46 East, Fairfield Police said.

Police said Gregory Ross of Paterson was behind the wheel when he apparently suffered some kind of seizure.

He struck six pedestrians and another vehicle.

Several ambulances responded, but none of those hit seemed to have life-threatening injuries, police said.
