Report: Dickey, Wright, Pettitte, Teixeira On Team USA Roster For WBC
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Former New York Met R.A. Dickey will join forces with David Wright one more time as they team-up to take on the world at the 2013 World Baseball Classic in March.
WFAN's Jon Heyman is reporting that New York Yankees starting pitcher Andy Pettitte and first baseman Mark Teixeira will also join Dickey and Wright on Team USA's roster.
Pettitte will also see a familiar face on the bench as former Yankees manager Joe Torre will manage Team USA against Mexico, Italy and Canada in Pool D of the tournament.
The entire Team USA roster will be unveiled Thursday.
