Katy Perry Headlines Kids' Inaugural Concert

WASHINGTON (CBSNewYork) -- President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama will headline two inaugural balls Monday night, but two nights earlier, the kids were set to get their turn.

As WCBS 880's Deborah Rodriguez reported, Katy Perry campaigned for President Obama, and now she will sing the president's praises for his girls – Sasha and Malia – at the Kids' Inaugural Concert Saturday night.

First Lady Michelle Obama and Second Lady Jill Biden were set to host the affair in honor of military families, whose kids will also be treated to the cast of Glee.

There will also be music from John Legend, Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder.

The Kids' Inaugural Concert was set for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Washington Convention Center.

The inauguration ceremony on Monday will feature Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor.
