MTA Bus Driver Charged With Strangulation, Assault

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Metropolitan Transit Authority bus driver was arrested Sunday and charged with strangulation and assault.

Nathan Lopez, 41, was arrested around 4:20 a.m., which is located in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn.

He was charged with assault, strangulation, criminal possession of a weapon, and harassment, police said.

Further details were not immediately available.
