Report: Jets Hire David Lee As New QB Coach

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The New York Jets have hired David Lee as their new quarterbacks coach according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Lee will be replacing Matt Cavanaugh, who has been with the team since 2009. Cavanaugh has been the only QB coach Mark Sanchez has had since being drafted by the Jets.

Last season Lee was the quarterbacks coach in Buffalo, prior to that he was the quarterbacks coach in Miami from 2008-2010 under Tony Sparano, who was fired by the Jets after this past season.

Lee is best known for the reintroducing the Wildcat in the NFL while in Miami.
