Suspected Drug Lab In Hell's Kitchen Given All Clear
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A west side apartment police thought might have been a drug lab has been given the all clear.
Monday night, firefighters responded to a report of fumes coming from the apartment on 54th Street between 9th and 10th avenues.
Officers found chemistry materials and supplies and FDNY Hazardous Materials teams were called in along with the bomb squad, 1010 WINS' Sonia Rincon reported.
Police evacuated the building as a precaution, but tests overnight found the fumes were not hazardous and there was no danger.
