Police Seek Man Who Robbed Woman At Bronx Bank

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police Sunday were searching for a man who attacked a woman and grabbed her pocketbook in the vestibule of a bank in the Bronx.

The 22-year-old woman was leaving the vestibule of the Bank of America branch at 2492 Grand Concourse, in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx, around 9:30 p.m. this past Friday.

The man pushed the woman back into the bank vestibule, grabbed her pocketbook, and ran off, police said.

There were no reports of injuries.

The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-30s, standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing a black jacket and a gray hat.

Police have released surveillance video of the suspect.
