Police Looking For Suspect Who Escaped Bronx Detention Facility

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police are looking for a suspect who they said escaped from a detention facility in the Bronx.

Quentin Stroman, 18, escaped from a detention facility on White Plains Road shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday, police said.

He was being held there by court order in lieu of jail in connection with an assault on a man trying to break up a dispute on March 8, according to police.

Police describe Stroman as being about 6 feet tall and weighing around 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a multi-colored baseball hat, a black sweatshirt and black jeans.
