Man Killed In Central Islip Hit-And-Run
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A man was found lying dead in the middle of the street in Central Islip late Saturday, after being struck in a hit-and-run crash.
Milton Maldonado, 45, was found lying dead in the middle of Church Street north of Suffolk Avenue in Central Islip, by a passerby who called 911 late Saturday, police said.
Maldonado, of Central Islip, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's office, where an autopsy was sconducted, police said.
The autopsy determined that Maldonado was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday.
Police had no further details on what might have happened.
