Westchester Man Faces Attempted Murder Charges Following Shooting

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Westchester man has been charged with attempted murder, in connection with a shooting that wounded two men outside a bar in Sleepy Hollow.

The incident took place around 3:30 a.m. Sunday in front of March Bar, at Beekman and Barnhardt avenues, according to a Journal News report.

Authorities responding to the scene found a 22-year-old man and a 27-year-old man with gunshot wounds, lying on the street.

Sean Ward, 30, was taken into custody shortly after about a block away, the newspaper reported. He was charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The circumstances of the shooting were still under investigation late Sunday afternoon.
