Parking Ticket Dispute In Englewood Lands Man Under Arrest

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. (AP) - A man angry about a parking ticket he received at a northern New Jersey housing complex allegedly threatened to harm two workers there and damaged a complex building.

Gregg Weiner of Fort Lee also faces drug charges following last week's incident at the Rock Creek Terrace complex in Englewood. He remains jailed on $66,000 bail, and it's not known if he's retained a lawyer.

Englewood police tell The Record newspaper that the 35-year-old Weiner was cited for parking in a prohibited spot. He then allegedly threatened two women who work in the management office and caused $5,500 worth of damage to the building.

When authorities arrested Weiner a few days later, he allegedly had various drugs in his possession. More drugs were found when authorities searched his home.
