NYPD: Suspect Arrested In Laundromat Forcible Touching Incidents
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A suspect has been charged in connection with a series of forcible touching incidents at Laundromats in Brooklyn.
Lowell Britt, 27, was arrested on sexual abuse, persistent sex abuse and public lewdness charges, police said.
The suspect would go to Laundromats and expose himself and rub against unsuspecting female victims, including three
teenagers, police said.
The first two incidents happened on March 18, 2012 in Bushwick. Authorities said at around 8 p.m., the suspect exposed himself and touched a 14-year-old and 16-year-old.
A little over an hour later, the suspect victimized another 14-year-old girl, police said.
On March 30 of this year, police said he forcibly touched a 43-year-old around 9 a.m. and then a 32-year-old at 9:20 a.m. in Canarsie.
Police said he was also wanted in connection with an incident in July of 2010 for forcibly grabbing a 19-year-old woman.
