Extensive Subway Service Disruptions This Weekend; Almost Every Line Being Worked On

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Getting around the Big Apple is going to be more challenging this weekend.

Almost every subway line is being worked on, the Metropolitan Transit Authority said.

The changes will impact the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, A, C, E, F, G, J, M, N, R and S.

Here's a breakdown of the changes:

1 Train:

Van Cortlandt Park-bound trains skip 103, 110, 116, 125 and 137 Streets from 5:45 AM to 7 PM both days.

Uptown, downtown trains skip 28, 23 and 18 Streets 6 AM to 12 midnight both days.

No 1 trains between 14 St and South Ferry all weekend.

2 Train: 

Trains run local in both directions between 34 St-Penn Station and Chambers Street all weekend.

3 Train: 

Trains run local in both directions between 34 St-Penn Station and Chambers Street all weekend. Late night service runs express between 148 Street and Times Square.

4 Train:

Crown Heights/New Lots Av-bound trains skip 138 Street-Grand Concourse from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. At 149 Street-Grand Concourse, all trains board at the Woodlawn-bound platform.

Woodlawn-bound trains skip 23, 28 and 33 Streets late nights Saturday and Sunday.

5 Train:

No trains between East 180 Street and Bowling Green. 2 and 4 trains will provide alternate service. 5 service opertes between Dyre Avenue and East 180 Street.

6 Train: 

Pelham Bay Park-bound trains skip 23, 28 and 33 Streets.

7 Train: 

At Hunters Point Avenue and Vernon Blvd-Jackson Avenue stations, late nights all trains board at the Flushing-bound platform.

No trains between Willets Point and Main Street. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

A Train:

No trains between 168-207 Streets. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

C Train:

No trains between 145-168 Streets. A trains make local stops at 155 street and 163 street.

E Train: 

Jamaica Center-bound trains skip 36 St, Steinway St, 46 St, Northern Blvd and 65 St late nights.

S Train: 

No Franklin Avenue Shuttle trains running.

N Train:

Astoria-bound trains run via the Q from Dekalb Avenue to Canal Street late nights.

No Astoria-bound N service at Jay Street-MetroTech, Court, Whitehall, Rector, Cortlandt Streets and City Hall.

Coney Island-bound trains run via the D from 36th Street to Stillwell Avenue all weekend.  Trains stop at at 62 St-New Utrecht Avenue.

Q Train: 

Weekend service operates between Coney Island-Stillwell Av, Brooklyn and 57 St-7 Av, Manhattan.

R Train: 

Forest Hills-bound trains run via the R from DeKalb Av to Canal St all weekend.

No Forest Hills-bound R service at Jay St-MetroTech, Court, Whitehall, Rector, Cortlandt Sts and City Hall.

Forest Hills-bound trains skip 36 St, Steinway St, 46 St, Northern Blvd and 65 St all weekend.

Bay Ridge-bound trains skip 67 Av, 63 Dr, Woodhaven Blvd, Grand Av and Elmhurst Av all weekend.

J Train: 

No trains between Brooklyn and Manhattan. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service from 5:45 a.m.-8 p.m. Shuttle buses run between Hewes St (Brooklyn) and Essex St (Manhattan), stopping at Marcy Av.
