Kids Spend The Day Learning To Do Their Part For The Environment
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Kids and their parents spent the day in Park Slope learning more about how they can do their part to help the planet.
Participants took part in a variety of educational and interactive activities that taught them to conserve water, plant seeds and help save the planet. The event, which was organized by FasTracKidsNY, is part of an enrichment program aimed at children between 2 and 10-years-old.
FasTrack programs expose children to a variety of academic programs including astronomy and public speaking;the events combine proven research with modern technology in a fun and exciting environment, according to FasTracKids spokesperson Veronica Verdino.
