Lady Antebellum Share 'Golden' Album News On The Couch

NEW YORK (WLNY) -- Lady Antebellum is one of country music's hottest acts and their newest hit, "Downtown," is their seventh number one single.

The Grammy-winning trio just wrapped up a headlining gig at Stagecoach and has a new album dropping May 7.

When they joined us on The Couch Thursday morning, they said they attribute their popularity to just doing what they know and love.

"We always try to create honest music that we relate to, so we try not to talk about something we don't know much about," said band member Charles Kelley. "We know about falling in love and not falling in love and having a good time."

"I think we just try to keep coming out with something fresh," said Kelley. "We always try to take little elft turns from what we've done before."
