LISTEN: Mets Radio Voice Josh Lewin Shows Musical Aptitude With Boomer & Carton

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Josh Lewin, part of the New York Mets' radio broadcast on WFAN, stopped by the Allstate Studio on Wednesday morning to chat with WFAN hosts Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton.

Naturally, the broadcaster discussed the state of the Mets' season with Boomer & Carton. But this wasn't just your average interview. It turns out that the esteemed play-by-play man is an accomplished musician. Not only does he know his Mets, but he can play the piano and hold a tune.

After calling Wednesday's afternoon Mets game at Citi Field, Lewin will perform at Pianos in the East Village at 7 p.m.

Carton wasn't about to let Lewin leave the studio without getting a taste of what will be on display on Wednesday night. It just so happened, as luck would have it, that a keyboard was hanging around B&C's digs.

The radio voice broke out a few numbers and, as expected, he didn't fail to impress.
