The Hottest In Housewares On Display In Midtown

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Whether your preference is fancy baking or high-tech blenders, the latest and hottest in housewares was unveiled in Midtown on Wednesday.

As CBS 2's Cindy Hsu reported, there was truly something for everyone at the Housewares Show. While it was not open to the public, the items that appeared will all be on store shelves very soon.

Among the items is a new line from Mrs. Fields. You can now make cupcakes or muffins with two flavors with the Half-and-Half Baking Pan, which divides the cups into which the batter is poured.

Bakers may also be interested in the "Brookie," which is a brownie on the outside and a cookie on the inside. And if you like that fancy bread you buy at the bakery, there is Average Joe's Artisan Bread kit, which uses just four ingredients – you bake the bread in a pot for one hour.

If you are into juicing your fruits and vegetables, Slow Juicers are hot. The slower speed means more vitamins in your beverage.

And if you're looking for speed, the Dash blender has so much power that it can make hot soup within six minutes.

if you're sick of the mess of making baby formula, the Baby Brezza Formula Pro will make a bottle within seconds at the perfect temperature.

And if you have a messy guy at home, The Butler serves as a spiffy man's accessory organizer. An iPhone, phone accessories, wallet and money cards go on one side, and ties and belts on the other.

There is also the "Stick It" organizer – a magnetic board where you can literally throw your jewelry and knick-knacks and they stick

And finally, in the most unusual creation, Garbage Pantz provide an instant makeover for that ugly trash can.

There are Garbage Pantz "especially for holidays, and once you're done, take them down, fold them up and put them away just like a real pair of pants -- and that's why we call them Garbage Pantz, because they slide on like a pair of pants," said Ana Meyers of Garbage Pantz.

Everything unveiled Wednesday will be on store shelves within the next few months.
