Celebrating National Doughnut Day On The Couch
NEW YORK (WLNY) -- It's National Doughnut Day -- and two of the most famous doughnut purveyors in the country are celebrating with treats and deals here in New York.

Krispy Kreme is giving away a free doughnut to each customer at their Penn Station location, while also serving up hot goodies at their food truck in Herald Square.
Meanwhile, Dunkin' Donuts has a two-fold celebration. While the franchise is also giving away free treats on Friday, they are also debuting their new menu item, "The Glazed Donut Breakfast Sandwich" -- a fried egg and bacon sandwiched in between two halves of a glazed doughnut.
