NYPD: Theft Happened On Monday Morning In Flushing, Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police on Monday were asking for assistance from the public in finding a thief who stole a bag containing about $90,000 from a car in Queens.

The theft happened around 10 a.m. Monday at 162-05 Crocheron Ave., in the Flushing section of Queens.

The suspect broke the driver’s side window and took the bag, police said. Police did not indicate what kind of vehicle was involved, or why there was a bag containing that much money inside.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect.
