Natural Gas Pipeline Repairs May Bring Odor To West Harlem

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Residents of the West Harlem area may notice an odor Monday morning, as crews repair a natural gas pipeline.

The pipeline set to be repaired is located at West 134th Street and the Hudson River.

Residents may notice a "spice odor" in the air during the repairs, according to Notify NYC, which did not elaborate on what "spice odor" means. The city similarly told residents to expect a "spice odor" during repairs on the pipeline last month.

The repairs will be in progress between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
