Police: Persons Of Interest Sought In Connection With Brooklyn House Party Shooting

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for two persons of interest in connection with a shooting at a house party in Brooklyn that left nine people injured.

It happened just before 1 a.m. Sunday on East 52 Street in East Flatbush following a dispute between two men. Witnesses said one of the men left the party, but then came back with a gun and started shooting.

"There was basically nowhere to run. It was chaotic," said Aaron Strahan, who lives at the home where the shooting happened. "People were laying on the floor. People were banging on my door, trying to get in. People were trying everything possible to stay alive."

Police said nine people sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Five were taken to Brookdale Hospital and two were taken Kings County Hospital, all in stable condition, police said. Two more victims walked in to area hospitals on their own, police said.

Early Monday morning, police released surveillance video of the two persons of interest sought in connection with the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or text tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
