Police: Man Arrested After Two Teens Stabbed In Commack

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Two teenagers are hospitalized after being stabbed during an altercation in Commack on Tuesday evening.

When officers arrived at the Indian Hollow School around 10:40 p.m. they found two 19-year-old men, Guy Derival and Nick Governale, with stab wounds, police said.

The two Commack residents were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital.

Derival was stabbed multiple times in the chest and is listed in stable condition while Governale sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds to his upper arm and hip, police said.

Twenty-year-old Clyde Ricks, of Bay Shore, was arrested as he attempted to flee the scene and charged with assault, police said.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
