Boy, 6, Dies After Being Found Unresponsive In Family Pool
NORTH LINDENHURST (CBSNewYork) -- A 6-year-old boy died on Wednesday after he was found unresponsive in his family's North Lindhurst pool Tuesday afternoon.

The child was pulled out of the pool by his grandmother, who called 911 after she found the boy just after 5:00 p.m., police said.

He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip by emergency crews and was listed in critical condition, but died Wednesday, police said.
Police are continuing the investigation.
