Police Search For Jackson Heights, Queens Subway Groping Suspect

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Sunday were searching for a man who groped a woman in the Roosevelt Avenue subway station in Jackson Heights, Queens.

Around 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, the 32-year-old woman was getting out of the elevator at the station, which serves the No. 7, E and F, M and R lines.

The suspect walked into the elevator and grabbed her buttock, police said.

Police described the suspect as a black male standing about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He had a scar or a skin condition on his left shoulder, police said.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect.
