Celebrities, Athletes React To A-Rod, MLB Suspensions On Twitter
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- So Alex Rodriguez has been suspended for 211 games, through the end of the 2014 season, for his ties to the now-defunct Biogenesis of America clinic.
He will appeal the suspension and will play for the Yankees during the process, The 14-time All-Star is in the lineup for New York on Monday night, batting cleanup and starting at third base.
A-Rod and 12 other MLB players were suspended in the performance-enhancing drug scandal and, naturally, celebrities and athletes alike took to Twitter to sound off on Major League Baseball's punishments.
