L.I. Man Says Security Cameras Caught National Grid Worker Urinating On His Home

LEVITTOWN, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island man is upset after his home security cameras apparently caught a National Grid employee urinating on his house.

Dennis Napolitan said he waited weeks for National Grid to come to his Levittown home to perform necessary tests before building a swimming pool in his backyard.

When a neighbor told Napolitan on Wednesday that a utility truck had come to his home, he immediately checked his security footage, Newsday reported.

Napolitan watched the video and saw a utility worker urinating on his home and fence, WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported.

Napolitan did not want to talk about the incident on tape, but National Grid's spokesperson told Hall that they do not condone this type of behavior and take the matter very seriously.

National Grid said the incident was not done out of anger towards the customer.

The company has reached out to Napolitan and apologized, Hall reported.

There is no word on if the employee will be disciplined.
