Police Officer, Driver Hurt In Hell's Kitchen Squad Car Crash
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two people, including a police officer, were injured when an NYPD squad car and a van collided in Hell's Kitchen Tuesday afternoon.
Around 1:30 p.m., the white van and the squad car were involved in an accident at Ninth Avenue and 55th Street, authorities told CBS 2.
The van driver and the police officer, a woman, were injured, authorities said.
One of the victims suffered minor injuries, while the other was seriously injured, authorities said. It was not clear whether the police officer was the one who suffered the severe injuries.
