Boomer & Carton: Dickey Has It Goin' On Against The Yankees

Tuesday night was supposed to be the start of something special for the Yankees, as they embarked on what Craig hoped to be a magical 10-2 run to finish out the regular season, which would presumably secure them the final wild card spot in the AL.

Unfortunately for Craig - and the legions of Yankees fans around the world - R.A. Dickey was on the hill, and the 2012 NL Cy Young Award winner's knuckleball was dancin', spearheading the Blue Jays' 2-0 win.

The loss leaves the Yanks 3.5 games out of the aforementioned wild card with just 11 games remaining. But despite that, Craigie is still not giving up on his beloved Bombers.

Boomer on the other hand, he isn't so sure about the Yanks and isn't all that upset at the prospect of the Yanks not playing in the postseason, going as far as to admit how much joy he got out of watching Dickey do his thing last night. I guess you could say the Booms couldn't get enough of the Dickey.

Boomer's admiration of course stems from Dickey's Mets roots.  Speaking of the 'Not So Amazins,' after speaking with the Dr. James Andrews, Matt Harvey has elected to hold off on surgery. He is going to rehab his right elbow and plans to be ready for the start of the 2014 season.

The guys also addressed the ongoing TV negotiations, which presented an opportunity for Craig to take an unprovoked shot at the Booms...
