The Name Of The Deceased Was Not Immediately Available

HAMILTON TOWNSHP, N.J. (AP) — Officials said a small plane crash near Atlantic City International Airport on Friday afternoon left one person dead.

Authorities said the crash happened in a wooded area of Hamilton Township, about five miles west of the airport and near the Atlantic City Expressway. One person was reported dead.

The name of the deceased was not immediately released.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
