Jets' Cumberland, Holmes Inactive Against Saints

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston is inactive for the team's game against the New York Jets with an unspecified knee injury.

Colston, who has only six catches for 44 yards in his past three games, missed Friday's practice. Kenny Stills is starting Sunday for Colston.

Linebacker Jonathan Vilma is making his season debut after being removed from the injured reserve list Saturday. Vilma, who began his career with the Jets, had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in August and practiced the past two weeks without limitations.

Tight end Jimmy Graham, limited Friday because of his injured left foot, is active.

Among the Saints' inactives are safeties Roman Harper and Malcolm Jenkins.

Tight end Jeff Cumberland (concussion) and wide receiver Santonio Holmes (hamstring) are among the Jets' inactives.
