1 Dead, 1 Injured In Newark Apartment Fire
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- One man was killed and another injured in a fire in a Newark apartment building early Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. at a building on Lake Street just north of Bloomfield Avenue.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control in 20 minutes.
One man was killed in the fire and another man was rushed to Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, officials said. The extent of his injuries were not know.
Their identities have not been released.
