No Faith? Kellen Winslow Doesn't Have Jets Making Deep Playoff Run

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Has Kellen Winslow given up on the Jets season? Well, it sure sounds like it according to the tight end's tweets.

Newsday first reported that Winslow tweeted his AFC and NFC Championship Game predictions in a reply to free agent wide receiver Donte Stallworth.

"I got the pats vs broncos in AFC championship game and Panthers vs Seahawks in NFC championship," Winslow reportedly tweeted before it was removed from his official Twitter account.

The Jets' playoff hopes appear bleak as they've lost three straight games and now sit at 5-7 in a packed AFC Wild Card race. They are currently the 11th seed in the AFC playoff picture. Gang Green is looking up at five teams they'd have to hurdle -- including the 6-6 Baltimore Ravens and 6-6 Miami Dolphins to qualify for the playoffs.

The 30-year-old tight end may have also rubbed head coach Rex Ryan, teammates and Jets fans the wrong way through his reported tweet.

Winslow has caught 26 receptions for 246 yards and two touchdowns in eight games since joining the Jets in June. He missed four games due to a violation of the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
