Power Restored To Most PSE&G Customers In Bergen County

FORT LEE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - Thousands of PSE&G customers in Bergen County were without power for about three hours on Friday evening.

A transformer exploded in Fort Lee around 6 p.m., WCBS 880 reported.

As a result, PSE&G said they had to cut power to customers in Fort Lee and Cliffside Park.

By 9 p.m. power had been restored to almost all PSE&G customers in Bergen County however some scattered outages remained, 1010 WINS reported.
