NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A man was shot and killed early Sunday in the South Richmond Hill section of Queens.

Around 3:25 a.m., police were called to 112th Street and Liberty Avenue after a report that a man had been shot.

Officers found the victim at the scenes with gunshot wounds to the torso, police said.

The man was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name had not been released Sunday evening.

As of Sunday evening, there were no arrests, and further details of the shooting had not been released. The incident remained under investigation.
