Water Main Bursts At Maimonides Medical Center
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Crews are working to repair a water main break at Maimonides Medical Center in Borough Park, Brooklyn.
A single pipe broke at the ambulance bay inside the hospital and flooded the area, CBS 2 reported.
Water flow has been contained to just the ambulance bay.
New patients and ambulances were diverted to other area hospitals due to the flooding.
None of Maimonides' current patients were affected or had to be moved from inside the medical center.
As of late Wednesday night, cleanup was ongoing.
