Eli Trends On Twitter After He's Shown Looking Miserable At Super Bowl

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Eli Manning was at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night to watch his older brother, Peyton, take on the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Peyton's Broncos were destroyed, 43-8, in the big game. Naturally, the Giants' quarterback was not pleased to see his brother struggle so much.

In the fourth quarter, with Denver down 35 points, the camera flipped to Eli. As one would expect, the younger brother looked, well, miserable.

Eli had a brutal year for Big Blue in 2013, so at the very least he hoped he could see his brother take home a second Vince Lombardi Trophy in his home stadium.

But it wasn't meant to be. Peyton and the Broncos never got anything going on this night. When it was all said and done, the 13-time Pro Bowler finished 34 of 49 for 280 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. He was sacked once and also fumbled in the loss.

Eli Manning was trending on Twitter following his brief stint on the broadcast.
