Matt Harvey, Derek Jeter Reportedly Split With Model Girlfriends
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two New York baseball stars are bachelors again -- just in time for Valentine's Day -- after splitting with their famous girlfriends, according to separate reports.
Mets pitcher Matt Harvey, who was quoted last year as being an admirer of Derek Jeter's dating prowess, has ended his relationship with supermodel Anne V after weeks "on the rocks," Us Weekly reported on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Jeter and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis are no longer an item, according to the New York Post.
The Yankees captain broke up with Davis "a few months ago," a source told the Post. But she gave no indication of trouble in paradise during her appearance on WFAN's "Boomer & Carton" show last week.
"Derek likes to keep his relationships quiet," another source told the Post's Page Six. "In the past, when his girlfriends become famous and start doing sexy shoots, that's when they break up."
Harvey bristled after his comments about Jeter's love life were published by Men's Journal in July.

"That guy is the model," he told the magazine. "I mean, first off, let's just look at the women he's dated. Obviously, he goes out – he's meeting these girls somewhere – but you never hear about it. That's where I want to be."
Harvey is rehabbing from offseason Tommy John surgery while Jeter is working to return to the Yankees after losing most of the 2013 season to ankle woes.
