Fire Rips Through High-Rise In Prospect Heights, Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An extra-alarm fire was raging early Friday in a high-rise building near Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
The fire broke out on the 12th floor of the 16-story building at 135 Eastern Pkwy. in Brooklyn -- across the road from the park and the Brooklyn Museum -- around 11:40 p.m., officials told CBS 2.
The fire was raised to a third alarm by 12:25 a.m.
It was not immediately learned if there were any injuries.
